BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Risk & Compliance officer to join a goal-oriented team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Law, Risk Management, Compliance, or Governance.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance or governance support role within a corporate or regulated industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance documentation, governance system, and regulatory reporting.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and governance tracking tools.

Preferred:

• Postgraduate diploma or certification in Compliance Management or Corporate Governance.

• Short courses in contract management, POPIA compliance, or King IV/V governance.

• Professional membership with Compliance Institute SA

Experience & industry knowledge:

• Sound understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory risk, and corporate governance requirements.

• Exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industries.

• Experience maintaining registers, tracking documents, and preparing reports.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general document management.

• Working knowledge of Companies Act 71 of 2008 and board administration processes.

• Experience preparing board packs, resolutions, minutes, and statutory registers.

• Familiarity with corporate governance principles (King IV/V) and compliance documentation.
